These are illustrative scenarios showing how the products are used, not customer case studies.
The same sequence, twice
Today
- Script calls the system
- It fails quietly
- No shared run history
- Customer reports it Monday
With SynaptaGrid
- Step calls the system
- Run recorded step by step
- Retries, then notifies
- Restart, rewind or replay
The situation
Each connection is its own script, with its own retry logic and its own idea of what counts as an error. There is no shared place showing what ran, what it returned, what retried and what is still stuck — so a failure is visible only where somebody made it loud.
How it is approached
Every run is recorded step by step, with the inputs, outputs, errors and the path taken at each one, and runs are findable by the record they concern. Failed steps retry on a widening backoff, background sweepers reclaim work orphaned by a restart and time out steps that overran, and notifications are configured at the action, the step, the workflow or the connected system, with the most specific one winning.
What changes
A failure raises a notification and lands somewhere with enough context to act on. Recovery is restarting the step that failed, rewinding to an earlier one, or replaying the run — instead of reconstructing it by hand.
